How to get more speed on my softball pitch?

I recently made JV softball at my high school and they want me to pitch some. I gotta start stepping up my game a lot!! So how can I get more speed out of my pitch?|||It's all in the way you grip it! I forgot the name of the grip you use to make you're fastball fast but it's something like 12 o'clock grip!
