|||That is not the only difference grizzle tooth. Also softball helmet have the face mask type thing on them when you're younger then once you get to college you can choose whether you want the face mask on your helmet or if you don't want the face mask and just want a regular helmet

|||softball helmets usually have either a hole or extra room in the back for a ponytail. The biggest difference has to be the face mask. Softball helmets have either a metal or plastic face mask connected to the helmet. The only exception is in college where they are not forced to wear one, but in other levels of fastpitch its most commonly standard to wear a helmet with a facemask (baseball does not).|||"Softball helmets typically have protective coverings over both ears, while regular baseball helmets just have one ear protector, on the side facing the pitcher."

Richie, Richie, Richie. Where did you come up with this FALSE statement. The only helmets with one ear covered, are in the Major Leagues. ALL other levels of baseball (including the Minor Leagues) must have both ears covered.

Sarge|||Softball helmets typically have protective coverings over both ears, while regular baseball helmets just have one ear protector, on the side facing the pitcher. Also, softball helmets usually have an opening in the back, so if you have long hair you can tie it in a ponytail.|||no clue
