What are the college softball divisions & their differences?

I really would like to know a lot more about college softball, as I may want to make that a goal for college. I want to know about the different teams/colleges and the divisions.|||If you want to play college softball you need to take into account how good you are. If you go to a division one school with a good team, it will be extremely hard to get on the team. But if you go to a smaller school it will be easier. My favorite team is probably U of A wildcats for softball. They always do well and Michael Candrea the coach, is very good and has won many titles for that school's softball team.|||college softball divisions are divided the same way as other college sports. each school is in an athletic conference usually based on their location/region. some of the major conferences are: Big Ten(midwest), Big EAST(east), ACC(atlantic coast), Big 12(southwest), SEC(southeastern), Pac-10(pacific coast), Big west(west), Mountain West(west), ohio valley(ohio area), missouri valley(in name), MAC(mid-american), Conf. USA(midwest-east), Southwestern(southwest), Horizon, WAC...
