I to be one of those players that people will say good things about me.
Any tips? Details would be nice (:
Thanks.|||OK not to rub this in at all in any way just telling you my years in softball, I've been in softball for 4 year just beginning my 4th and all the years before I've been to all stars and mostly everyone knows me. I always hear good comments about me.
1. You need to build self confidence if you don't have this you wont be a star player. Make friends with all your teamates so if you make a mistake its not that embarrassing. :)
2. Practice hitting and throwing and fielding (buy a tennis ball and find a wall to throw at and throw and ground it.)
3. Pick a spot your comfortable at and are good there and really practice at that spot. (like me but i play really good at 2 spots 1st and catcher, but I can still play everywhere else just not that great as some other people are at it.)
4. If you have a big backyard if you do go outside and throw yourself some pop-flies and then get you bat and toss the ball a little in the air then hit it. (it takes a while to get use to throwing the ball in the air and hitting it.) (don't get any windows! :) If you don't have a big backyard walk to you nearby park (get some exscersize.)
5. Have fun! If you don't then it won't look like you enjoy the sport. And good luck at it :)
Hope I helped you. :)|||As a star catcher..2nd best in the state of alabama..you got to be determined and have heart to play. if you wanta be good you gotta have fun but u do got to remember its not all about fun. You got to work your butt off and just practise. Trust me!

|||Make sure that you're executing the proper basics. Hustle all the time during practice so the coach sees how determined you are. Once you're doing the skills correctly, It's time to strengthen yourself by adding conditioning drills. Have an objective of increasing your hitting power, throwing strength, quickness when fielding, stamina and Increased speed in running the bases.
Increase your leg, core and back strength through correct conditioning exercises.|||1. Practice, Practice, Practice. Hit some balls off a T, Throw yourself pop flies to catch,
2. Know what you need to improve, and spend alot of time working on it!
3. Have confidence, and good sportsmenship. Your coach as well as other people can always tell when your a bad sport about things ie: throwing your helmet at the dougout because you strike out, crying during a game exc, NO ONE likes that, so dont do it.
4. Have fun (:|||Um, you can practice a lot
