What is the difference between Basketball & Softball Shorts?

I found some softball shorts that would look amazing with some basketball Jerseys I have.. Was wondering what is the difference between the two kinds of shorts, they are both made out of the same material.. Or does it even matter, maybe there is no difference, I don't play softball so I have not a clue.|||Softball shorts go to about mid thigh, as to where basketball shorts are knee length or a little shorter.


I don't think there is any difference other than that.
