In softball is it illegal to have a baseball batting helmet?

I have a rawlings CFBH batting helmet, and I think it is a baseball helmet. Will the umpire check for a softball helmet?


does it HAVE to be a softball helmet.|||If it's NOCSAE certified, it should be fine.





I also checked the Rawlings site, and it doesn't appear to differentiate between baseball and softball helmets.|||it depends most girls softball leagues make u were the cage on the helmet. If u do need that go to a sporting goods store and buy one there cheap like 20$

like this! :)|||Any helmet can be used. It is for your protection. If the umpire says something, which he wont, tell him or her to........well, be nice.|||it doesnt really matter baseball vs softball but in most leagues, it needs a face guaard in the front!
