What are some ways to practice for softball by yourself?

I need help on ways to practice for softball by myself. I can't always have somebody come over to throw to me so I need some ways other than throwing the ball in the air and catching to help me get ready for softball.|||I use a softer softball or a squishy one (even a tennis ball can work) and throw it against a wall with a marked off spot. Try to hit the spot each time to improve your accuracy. I try to throw quickly and hard so that it improves my reaction time. So after you throw to the wall and it bounces back you have to field it quickly and throw again. If you want to practice fielding different types of balls throw it at different spots on the wall. Toss it under hand to work on catching line drives and pop ups (note you may also have to move a little closer to the wall too), and throw to work on grounders.

If you want to practice batting, toss some balls up to yourself to hit. If you don't have access to the outdoors or it is too cold, you can use an old broken broom handle that's about your bat size in length and toss some ping pong balls up to yourself to hit. If you can hit those line drives every time you'll become much better at hitting.|||1. Try throwing against a wall with even a tennis ball.

2. Get it pitch back from Dick's Sporting Good or a sporting good store. You throw the ball into it and it sling shots the ball back to you.

3. Get a tennis racket, and hit tennis balls into the air, and focus on it and getting it into your Mit.

4. Roll a ball of any kind about 5 feet in front of you. Run, scoop it up, and throw to a target for accuracy.

hope this helps!|||go to ***** sporrting goods or a sporting goods store and they should have a net that u are able to throw at and the ball will come right back to you so u can catch it.

its great for pitching, warming up, or just playing by urself! =D
