and pitching tips?
Thanks|||Hey gurl. Softball is an amazing sport. I pitched for 11 years, and I miss it every single day.
There are a lot of different ways to pitch, but it all depends on preference.
If you have never pitched before, I advise you to find someone that can actually show you the steps of pitching. It's not easy..it takes practice. Especially if you want to be really good. Practice is key to success in this though.
There are several drills that you can do to better your accuracy and skill. I pitched windmill, in fast-pitch softball. I'm just going to assume you are going to be playing fast-pitch, because slow pitch is pretty dead..
When you first start pitching, focus on accuracy first. Speed will come.

If you need anymore help, feel free to email me!|||one thing that i know that helps is practice your release point by taking a softball and flicking it into a catchers glove.
also usually it will help me if i get a count down in my head when i pitch so my release point is more accurate.

|||They're are many pitches that you can learn. If you are serious about pitching in softball you need to get a private coach and maybe go to a camp. I know I went to Oklahoma University's summer program. They had many good ideas. The main places for softball are California, Oklahoma and Flordia.

for practice i would start with a rubber softball and a place that has a cement wall. mark out a strike zone. stand about 15' from the wall. when you able to hit zone continue to work your back in5' increments to 42"|||To prepare for an awesome sport like Softball:
