What do college softball scouts look for at college exposure tournaments?

I'm going to a softball college exposure tournament in Colorado at the end of the month %26amp; I need some tips. Any advice?|||It depends on what position you play. Number one, if you bat, they are looking for speed from home to first. That is most important. If you are a pitcher, hitting is not so important since most college pitchers will not see may times a the plate. If you are a regular defensive player(which means not pitcher) they are going to be looking for mechanics, speed, any extra effort you can give. If you are a pitcher, speed, movement of pitches, knowing when to throw a certain pitch.

It really depends on where you play.|||They want speed if they are addressing a need in a position like pinch running or a slap-type hitter. Speed is completely irrelevant if you are hitting doubles and home runs. Hit the ball with the best and any college will find you a spot on the field or as a DH.

|||They want to see speed. They want to make sure you've got an arm. They want to know that you can field. Finally, you've got to have a good stick.

In order to throw, field, and bat, you need speed. If you are exceptionally good in one or two areas, that will make up for the downside of being bad in one, but typically they are looking for the balance.

They also want you to have a good attitude. If you're a loner, prima donna, type looking to have everyone bow down to you, that will be a negative on the scouting report.|||thats cool, me too what team? from where?
